Research Interests: Ali is a fourth-year doctoral student originally from Norwalk, CT. She graduated cum laude in 2005 from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Psychology. After three years in Boston, where she did research in schizophrenia, sleep and memory, she returned to Philadelphia to Drexel to work with Dr. Lowe. Ali has pursued interests both in eating disorders and obesity, focusing on hedonic hunger, loss of control over eating, biobehavioral and neuroimaging correlates of restraint and dieting, and risk factors for both eating disorders and obesity.
