Research Interests: Carey is a research coordinator whose primary focus is Dr. Lowe's study of weight loss and weight loss maintenance. She graduated from Swarthmore College in 2010 with a B.A. in Psychology and in Cognitive Science. Her research interests include obesity prevention and treatment, the effectiveness of programs increasing the availability of healthy foods in food deserts, and the facilitation of spatial reorientation through availability of linguistic labels for landmarks. In her spare time, she enjoys taking art classes and trying new cookie recipes.

Favorite Food:Pasta fagioli; dark chocolate.
